Hiking is great way to get a workout. Studies show it helps reduce anxiety, osteoporosis and it helps improve mental and physical health. Unlike walking on a treadmill, hiking involves scenic views and unpredictable elements. Use these following tips to guide you in your first adventures. 

1. Start small and choose the right trail for your fitness level.

It is important to choose a hiking distance that is doable. you should select the hiking trail that is a bit short than your usual walking distance. This will allows you to pace yourself and grow your stamina. Next you want to study the trail that you are planning to hike. You should prepare with proper gear and water.
